As we mourn for the murdered, pray for the safe return of those who have
been abducted and for our soldiers going to battle, the SCA will be working
with institutions and individuals throughout our Community as we support the
State, the Land and the People of Israel in this difficult time.
Community-wide efforts will include the contribution of products and funds,
and while the SCA is and will continue to use its contacts and resources to aid
in this effort, we will also be sharing information regarding efforts to offer other

of just some of the large, established organizations coordinating relief efforts,
as well as some more targeted efforts started by community members with
whom the SCA is familiar
For its part the SCA will be concentrating its efforts on our families and family
members both in Israel and here at home, furthering our connections between
them and offering programs on how to process the unfolding events and to
take appropriate steps to deal with these events in a productive fashion.
